Hi people.
I got my red 2019 tipo sport new.
The paint is failing and beginning to flake.
I've challenged fiat and they said it bird lime when it's not! I've only don't about 8k and car is kept under cover.
The paint is supposed to last at least 10 years.
Plus the paint garentee says it's covered but fiat refuse to resolve it!

Ive contacted my credit card and they let me down.

Ive contacted the motoring ombudsman and waiting for a reply.

I now feel like I'm stuck with a car that's not going to last.

I don't know what to do

Anyone else having this problem with red paint?

Have to say it does look like bird dropping damage.

I would get a professional detailer or body shop with a paint depth gauge to do a report including paint depths on the issue and then if they confirm its not bird lime you can go back to Fiat.
Also don't be surprised if someone says it's been repaired, transporter damage is common !
