2013 Fiat Panda 1.2 Easy.
Stock except for Lineaccessori iPhone adaptor (used for for bluetooth).

Owned from new for 7 years. (Still can't believe I bought a new car for £8.5k)

Only fault or breakdown in 7 years and 80k miles has been the german battery failing a few years ago!

Avg over 55mpg for my former 70 miles per day commute.

What is there not to like about this little red go kart?

Likely to be passed down to my daughter in a year or so.

dont know how anyone affords a new car these days!? to be honest No new cars worth the money they cost!! IMHO and thats before you bung 33% down the toilet on depreciation the minute you drive it home!! good used every time for me im afraid!!!

I thought about 75% of new cars are leased these days.

To be honest i am probably at least  20 years behind the times. I have only ever bought 2 new cars in my entire life a 1994 Skoda Favorit estate and a 1995 Skoda Favorit "Blackline" estate.
As i recall the 1994 one cost just under 2k.(y)
Since then carefully selected mainly one or two owner used!.(y)

Cause im an old git id never consider leasing a car:eek: but understand the younger folk want the car ,the tax, the insurance, and the servicing, all in one place and not have to worry about selling it on when there done with it! .
kinda sums up the disposable nature of current society!( and probably lets them drive a far better car than they could afford to purchase!) and i expect they dont bother to calculate the TRUE costs as its all hidden in the package deal!
+ you dont appreciate something as much if you have not had to save to afford it! (i m o a l)
