Hi guys,

Thanks for letting me join the Fiat Forum.

I've just finished rebuilding the fiat after the the timing chain failed (engine was stripped down by others), and need some help with an electrical connection. At the side of the engine ECU there is a short cable fastened to the main loom with a black and yellow connector, does anyone know where this connects too as I can't find it, or is this left unconnected? Ideally a picture of the left hand side of the engine with the plastic cover removed.

Cheers,

Steve

It should be somewhere around there

Cam Shaft sensor or pressure sensor for air con pipes?

If you can't find it I'll try and get a picture of a family members car around that area tomorrow

Thanks for the replies, pressure sensor plug is connected as is the air con plug and map sensor plug. The connector is located next to the ECU on the drivers side. The connector wire is quite short so you would think it would be easy to locate but there is no where for it to plug in. Plug is clean and it looks as though it has been connected previously.

Water in fuel sensor on fuel filter?

Hi Chris,

If you could send a picture of your family members car that would be much appreciated, drivers side with the top cover off.

Thanks,

Steve

Not that mate either. Only thing i can think is that something is missing from the build, either an extra cable or a missing component.

Thanks Chris, unfortunately I see it the video. I'll send a photo of it in a minute. Cheers, Steve

Just taken a picture of the connector. Thanks Steve
