I'm in a similar situation. Got a 2018 X290 2.3 150 powered motorhome.
Done 12000 miles in 2yrs 8months.
Recently did my own first service, make sure you use the right oil. I used Shell Helix ultra ect 0w-30 as it meets c2 and C3 and also the vital DSi..... spec for this euro 6 engine.

You need a licenced MES to be able to interrogate the ecu modules and after an oil change you need to reset the service counter and also the 'oil degradation counter' ( using the yellow adapter cable ).

I have noticed the ecu does a DPF regeneration about every 350 miles ( compared with my last ( euro 5 ) ducato which averaged 800 miles between regenerations.
I'm a bit paranoid about DPF regens as I had a dpf sensor fail on the eur05 whilst travelling through Annecy, in the Alps and it ceased doing cleanouts !.
This led me to investing in the Multiecuscan software and odb adapter to keep an eye on the various module reports.

So far this euro 6 engine has not used any noticeable amount of oil and at 12000 mile the oil I drained out looked relatively clean for a diesel.

Are you a member of Motorhome fun by any chance ?
I can highly recommend it.
