Hi all new to the forum, we have a 2008 Doblo JTD taking a long time to start

never failed to start but dose take a good 10 to 15 seconds from cold

around 9 months ago it had 4 injectors, glow plugs timing belt, cam sensor (this was a separate issue) that was resolved.

the vehicle cranks over fine, has a good strong battery.

no fault codes, and the live data turns off when the engine is cranked.

once it has started it has a puff of white smoke for around 2 seconds then clears, runs fine no lack of power.

did have a sticking egr valve that now ok and no fault returned on that.

any info would be great

Hi, maybe the fuel system is leaky somewhere so that some amount of Diesel runs back overnight drawing air into the system.

What rail pressures on cranking..
And does it drop off sharply?

Test the glow plugs
