Hello Fiat Forum

I am Beau Barnes and I am looking to buy a Fiat Doblo (Active). I think the Active part might refer to the forward folding back seats?

What I want to know is the distance from the front seats in fully forward postion...to the end of the carpet where it meets the plastic rear door trim?

I'm sure you have guessed that I want to convert the interior for sleeping in on my soon to go on 'staycation'!

I believe the vehicle length is 4220mm (13.9 ft) and I am 1900 mm long (6ft 2") which to me seems like there could be.

Thanks fiat Forum

Beau..

We are a helpful bunch here and welcome, however, your best approach here is Google images. Hit this straight away with the search Doblo internal dimensions.
Find this or similar and print it out, you scale off the drawing if you want outline dims. Then mark up anything you can't estimate and ask with the mark up, you will get exactly what you want.

This does not add show you seat runner range for example. Good luck with the conversion! Screenshot_20200730-134125.jpeg

The “active” on Fiat’s relates to the spec active is generally the bottom of the range, then there was the dynamic and on other models probably not a doblo there was the eleganza

In the picture posted above the dimensions suggest it’s about 1600mm from the back doors to the back of the front seats. Obviously that doesn’t take into account the full range of seat movement.

There are many doblo campers about and they also have a longer wheel base version depending on your budget. You should be able to find something that would fit your height. Worse case scenario if you’re on your own then you can do away with the passenger seat.

Tilting the front seat forward as well as sliding it forward combined with raising the bed height will also give you a few more mm.

If you can’t find anything that suits a scudo van has a slightly longer load space but overall is not much bigger.
