Hi guys just joined the forum after a bit of advice.I have just bought a Fiat Doblo 1300 multijet like the van but have discovered a few issues when driving I can hear a bearing noise not sure if it's the belt tensioner the water pump or the Aircon pump.Whats the best way of checking before I buy parts don't want to buy the wrong one's also forgot to say that the killometer display is flashing and the blue me doesn't work

B+M and flashing mileage.. has it got an aftermarket stereo.. common issue :eek:


Right.. your motor is chain driven.. ;)

Hope its not chain noise.


Easiest test for you currently.. swing the belt tensioner enough to pull off the alternator belt

Run engine.. if the noise stops.. flick alternator :)

Thanks Charlie it is chain drivin 2013 model I think it is the original stero it's definitely not chain noise it's coming from alternator/water pump side I had a similar noise on my Mazda 6 turned out it was the AC bearing it's more noticeable when exelerating
