I bought my daughter a Fiat 500 3 weeks ago and
Have noticed when pulling off in 1st gear you don’t need to accelerate to pull off. Is this normal for Fiats or could the clutch be on the way out?

Do you mean you don't need to press the accelerator pedal to move off?
In other words the engine doesn't stall easily?

Depending on which engine you have, you can drive off with little or no increase in revs from tick-over

Hi Richard exactly that you don’t need to accelerate at all. It’s almost like there’s no biting point. It’s a 1.2 petrol pop model

Not needing to touch the accelerator..

That just means its producing high torque ..at low rpm

Diesels were great for this..

My twinair raises revs automatically as the clutch pedal comes up.. with the revs rising nicely

Are your revs remaining stable..?
