Hi
I have about 3 warning lights that’s not illuminated on the dash the radio stopped working after engine was started and no dials moved tank shower empty (I’ve filled it up) it’s a 2020 Fiat Ducato *2.2 100 X250 van, I took it to a Fiat dealer who replaced the body control box/computer. (Even though they was adamant it was my fault) They told me it was fixed but the problem is still there. Because it is a camper they say that it could be the converters fault and basically they don't want to look any more or are stumped..... after speaking with the manufacturer who did my conversion they’d explained how they moved any wiring and extended where needed and disconnected the battery whilst work was carried out, can anyone else help, there wanting me to pay

Omg
You have a brand new van and someone is dodging the gaurentee.
That is outrageous.
Who did you buy it from?

I am sure you will get great advice on here.
But I also think you should get consumer advice from citizens advice or people who used to be called trading standards.

If you bought it using some kind of finance, speak to finance company too.

Did you buy direct from motor home converters?

Someone is responsible for honouring a warantee of good workmanship . I am horrified that you are being fobbed off by both companies involved.

You need proper consumer advice asap.

Sorry you have been put in this position.

You could also ring fiat customer services UK?

Best wishes

Jack

It’s in with fiat dealer, I supplied the chassis/panel van, which was dropped off to the manufacturer via transport, the manufacturer has out of house auto electrician who comes and wires everything up, that side of job has been fantastic, but the dealership is the issue, I’m not sure where I stand as I’ve had the body of the vehicle changed

You definitely need professional legal advice.
Check to see if you have cover for this on home insurance and vehicle insurance or any other insurance policies you have.

You must get legal advice.

Do not get anyone else to touch your van until you have had legal advice. You need a written plan from a legal expert on how to proceed.

Good luck

Best wishes
