Hi Everyone, so i am new here, just a quick question:- I have just bought a new Fiat Tipo and assume it has breakdown cover free for the first year. I have put my private plate on so wanted to let them know of the change. But when I ring the number in my booklet its not recognised :- 0080034280000. Anyone help with the number ? Thanks.........

That doesn't look like a UK number.

Try the "Ciao FIAT" number on the sticker that should be on the drivers sun-visor

My recollection is you need an extra character

Apparently people struggle to get connected to the Italian freefone number..

You have a good point but if you call them on land line to change reg number you could ask them for the number to call from a mobile.

Thank you Jack and all others who replied.....I am now sorted. I rang the number on my wife's mobile ( different network) and to my surprise it rang and they answered almost straight away with an english speaking operator. She gave me another number to ring which works on my own mobile.......here it is if you have a Fiat less than 3 years old....0039 02444 12160.......then option 1 for breakdowns.........

Alfa. Lancia
New Holland..Maserati

UPDATE:-

I've since had a call from Fiat giving me another Breakdown cover number which is UK based....020 8666 9223.

Pretty good service from Fiat, i'm impressed !
