I am seriously looking to acquire late 70s/early 80s 124 spider for top down touring.

Cars don't come up that often and I am not keen to take on a full resto.

I am looking for general advice from owners about living with this car; I am reasonable with the spanners so would intend maintaining myself so interested in any foibles, regular issues, any proactive upgrades people make to improve reliability rather than performance etc

Also classic no-no's or warnings when looking to buy
