Back in the seventies I had a 127 and a 128 - young family, not much money. Let’s say it’s taken years to recover from that particular Fiat owning experience. Now in my *actual* seventies our 500C (made in Poland of course) has laid to rest those old ghosts of rust and unreliability. We’ve had it for almost ten years, use it occasionally rather than regularly and think it’s a hoot. Glad I opted for the 1.4 and with a decent cat back exhaust and K&N panel filter it sounds splendid and zips along too. Looking forward to tips about how to cherish one of the best and happiest cars I’ve owned.

I think that 500 is the best build Fiat at the moment.
Don't know though how it's going on with the new ones when Ford Ka's aren't build in the same factory anymore. Though the basic concept for the car isn't change much in the years.

I had my Turismo corrosion protected when it was new so I have been driving on winter too without problems five years now.
