My 2010 panda drivers door mirror adjusts up and down ok but will not go any further out with the manual adjuster and I can still see too much of the side of the car..can this be sorted in any way???

I would hazard a guess that its been replaced sometime in the past with one from a left hand drive. Most on ebay are

Cheap and cheerful would be to stick one of those caravan domed ones

Had the car from new...As you say, it could be a euro mirror and they have put the wrong one on at the factory...if you sit in the passenger seat you can get wife to adjust ok...so, can you buy a UK spec drivers door mirror???

there certainly advertised as LHD or RHD

Fairy sure the part number is stamped on them. But you have to take the mirror off to read it

hopefully someone with eper install will be along shortly.

If you Google "eper fiat panda" there's a few online catalogues but they don't work too well on my tablet

Both my left and right mirrors are terrible. I have to use the adjuster to get them as far out as possible and then press on the mirror glass itself to gwt anything like the field of view i want. And they seem the revert back at the first hint of an opportunity.

Thanks for all the comments and advice..think I'll have to put up with it as it is ..
cheers

I thought exactly the same thing when I first got my Panda.

I have to push the housings slightly outwards from their standard position for them to be of much use.

Both my door mirrors were seized and required a liberal dose of penetrating fluid and spray grease sprayed up at the hinge from under the plastic housing before they could be persuaded to move.

I have the same with my Panda and the adjuster moves the mirror, but not far enough.

I adjust the mirror as far as I can and then push the glass slightly, whilst also pushing the internal mirror adjuster. My mirrors don’t seem to move out of the position I set them in.

I do find that with the big Mickey Mouse Ear mirrors on the later Pandas, they are so huge you can generally see the whole side of the car and behind at the same time[emoji16]

I ignore the internal handle. Open window, push mirror, close window. Job done.

If the car was an Italian spec, you would be lucky to have any external mirrors as they were sold as accessories and the windows would be hand-cranked.
