I recently bought a 1979 X19 with about 75,000 miles. I think I am the 3rd owner.Overall, it's in good condition, but it has some issues. I bought it because it is almost rust free. Being a Northeast US car that's an accomplishment. It was Kermit the Frog green (my name for it) but prior owner painted it yellow. Its a decent paint job
I am looking to make this car a good quality driver. Have thus far done all of the usual maint items; pads, rotors, plugs, wires, dist cap, filters, etc.
There are some things I know I will need help with. I have started into replacing the heater valve under the dash. Not fun! And the transmission has a pretty good leak from somewhere given the puddle under the car.
If I can figure out how to post photos I will send some along.
