I’ve just bought a new 2020 500, Is there a way for the heating just to be turned off? It seems to switch from one to a fan which is quite cold. I find myself having to leave the heater on one and keeping the window open slightly

Thank you for your reply, it’s a twisty nob. It’s only my feet that seem to be cold, there’s no cold air coming from anywhere else, it’s like I’m driving a flintstone car ��

I assume you tired setting the temp dial to half way ora little over so should blow warmsih air

It feels cold in the footwell on 0 even if the temp control is on the hottest setting

0 will mean the fan isn't running so you won't get any hot air
You need the fan running to get any heat into the cabin

The setting is next to a fan sign but it doesn't click any further to the fan.Sorry for sounding a bit thick but I've never owned a fiat before , is the 0 the fan setting?

The footwell just seems so cold on the 0 setting its like if its draughty even

You should have 4controls for the heater
First one is temp with a red and blue bar to set temp left is cold right is hot
Second dial is fan speed 0 is off 1-4 is fan running at various speeds

3rd is for if you want the car to recirculate the air or not


4th
dial is for where the air is directed to e.g windscreen feet or face

If it's a new 2020 car I'd suggest a trip back to the dealer might be in order, to either fix the problem and/or explain its proper operation.
