Hello all , new here and to be honest not overly competent with the whole tinterneting thing. I’ve picked up a sei 1.1 sporting on an 02 plate. It’s a fun little car and I’ve given it a service. Plugs/ filters/ cam belt kit/ oil and filter change etc. One coil pack went down so chucked a new one on. All was well, but it ticks over very low, guessing 400 rpm?? As it has since I bought it. But it seems to have an intermittent miss fire throughout the Rev range. Do the coil packs die off a bit before finally giving up the ghost? Cam sensor? And ideas folks?

Does it have the Micro ECU?

My old cinq suffered from an intermittent coil pack. Avoid cheapo unbranded replacements. Try and get decent branded coils.
