Hi everyone.
I joined this forum after learning lots about possible causes why I couldn't get my mk1 punto to start after changing the head gasket.
I have owned my car for several years and changed the head gasket before without trouble. This time however the orange key symbol kept flashing and when I switched off the ignition and tried restarting..nothing.
I have noted your posts (thanks) but nothing has worked. Tonight however after thinking I will have to get rid, I have come upon a solution, which I hope should work. Though it still flashes when turned on and driving and doesn't start sometimes, if the wiring plug to the black control box is pulled, while ignition is off, then replaced, I can start the car no problem. I don't know how so maybe someone can enlighten me.
