I really need some help, I have a Punto Evo 1.3 Multijet 2011,84HP 62KW.

I need to replace the rear silencer on the exhaust, having looked under the car the exhaust is all one long piece right up to the DPF no joins!

I have looked everywhere but I can not get a new exhaust that fits.

I can get the rear silencer but not the mid section because I was going to replace the whole thing.

What I want to know is, can I offer the silencer up, cut the mid section and fit the silencer onto the old pipe.

The part number is 55703005 1D A600 if any one knows where I could get this part that would be great.

Then you lop off the dead bit.

Its unusual for diesel zorsts to fail..

Most of mine last 15 years

FIAT rear boxes have sacrificial outer layers.. look scruffy.. so just peel away the flaky bits..and its still sound.

My 2007 mj is still original..and flaky
