Good morning all,

I’m a newbie and need help ASAP. Story so far. Car was driven through water. Stalled. Plugs removed, water sprayed out. Air filter saturated so replaced. No water in turbo, exhaust, or anywhere else I can see. Compression test passed fine. Correct fuel. I don’t seem to have any fuel pressure at the injector rail. Fuel pump comes on but not for long. It’s not on long enough to pass fuel from filter to rail? No crap in tank. Breather ok. Fuses and relays ok. No fuel inertia cutoff switch that I’m aware of. I know there’s a procedure to reset but no error codes. Does anyone have any further checks or ideas please? It’s been of the road 3 weeks now.

Regards

Wayne

I think you'd need to get diagnosis on to the car and start checking live data when cranking to see what fuel pressure is being generated
Also the pump you hear with be the low pressure one it's only.job is to fill the fuel filter bowel
The high pressure pump takes it from there the pressurise the fuel rail
