New to the forum so getting acquainted with how it all works.
Wife recently bought the panda cross twin air brand new for £12k from fiat in Northampton so there are discounts to be had on list prices.
I love it. Ace off road and engine noise is a hoot. Can’t afford it justify another cross so looking at an older mk 2 for about 2k. Does anyone know whether these can be remapped or whether it’s even worth it ?
It’s grim in winter where we live and I’ll not be able to prize keys off her when the snow comes !

Diesel probably ok.. tuneable to a point.

Thinking of the 1242cc petrol circa 2005-2010 but wasn’t sure whether the petrols would remap or whether it was worth doing it.

Been spoiled by the wife’s new TA !

Most petrols wont give much from a remap. Diesels can give considerable gains. Talk to the remap experts.

Remap of petrol will give you maybe an extra 3-4%.

Basic remap of diesel will give you extra 30-40%

NA vs Turbocharged. Not nescessarily to do with the type of fuel.

Considering they quoted £350 to do my MiTo (bringing it from 120 to 150), I would say it's not worth the cost for such a minimal gain.
