If you need parts there's a guy in Ravenshead that buys/breaks coupes. Prices are really good, dealt with him a fair few times for parts for my Stilo.

OK so were back on the UP ; Big thanks to varesecrazy it was the battery, poor connection and incorrect size, Replaced, fixed an up and running again. I emailed John Cartlidge at Midlands Cars Servicing with a view to getting the car down for Belts and Advisory. Other than that it how it should.


Zeewulf, thanks for you head up, I'll keep the info but it quite a drive, a nice drive however.

Where are you based as Ravenshead (Nottingham) is only 30 miles away from Midlands Car Servicing as you said driving 'down' ?

Well thank you for your following.

These forums are a treasure trove of good info but often difficult to find unless you get a direct response as in this case.

I hope (depending on what you do decide) that you get your Coupe and sorted at a price AND experience you are comfortable with.

Price is not everything. Trust is and when trust, price and performance all align with you/your expectations then you are well sorted/served.

(I read Raven... and thought of Cumbria..

Probably as far.. but in the opposite direction)

If in Lancashire, could recommend the following for cam belts.

Alfatune in St. Helens or Moto-Tech in Litherland, North Liverpool before Southport.

Both are on the net.
