hi im a newbie. i have a problem with my blue and me and mileage flashing. i was told that I could change the blue and me module from another fiat with the same part number. which i did got a guy to do the proxy alignment but still no good. so i rang a auto electrician and he said I had to get anew one because it has the vin number and details of the car put on it whitch is round £500 vat. can the proxy alignment be redone to the existing module. or is there another way round it. im lost. any help would be appreciated. jim

Do you have the original blue and me that removed from your car? Replace the 4 capacitors with new ones.

Does replacing the 4 capacitors really fix the fault with the Blue Me unit?

Has anyone carried out this repair with success?

Need to know before I waste money buying a replacement unit.

Main capacitor problem was on the one of them.the 1000μF/35v. The other two at 330μF/35v you can change them as an optional. Smallest one (forth one) no necessary to be charged. Total cost about €5. One year from the time I replace the 1000μF/35v and working fine
