500L Gearbox fault
Morning, I have a fiat 500 auto lounge with a very strange gearbox fault
When going from 2nd to 3rd it takes a very long time, sometimes with the other gears but mostly 2
Had it put on dignostic and just says,gearbox sub systerm
Has anyone had this fault before.

For the Selespeed/Duologic gearbox, you will need to get a registered version of www.Multieucscan.net and a set of ODB cables. It runs on windows computers.
These gearboxes can rapidly wear the clutch so it might be the clutch that is not releasing properly. This would cause a delay as the ECU system waits for the signals that a gear shift can take place.
