Hey everyone.
So this may sound a bit silly for most of you but i am curious: my car as an alarm from Meta System (m500 model after a quick research) and i wanted to ask you: did this alarm come as an option back when the car was new (year 2002) or was aftermarket only?

Like i said, maybe a bit silly but don't bother.... I just want to know.

I bought my Mk2 Sporting brand new from Fiat in 2001, and they pointed me in the direction of a local ICE shop who I believe fitted alarms specifically for them. They fitted a Meta alarm with a brown circular fob with Black centre button. Don’t ask me what model though, but I’ve got a feeling it was the recommended alarm for my car at the time. - hope this helps[emoji106]
