I am new on the forum.
I have a 2010 Fiat Ducato 2.3 diesel as a camper van which we greatly enjoy.

However we have had trouble with the aircon recently. It was fitted by the dealer when it was bought, rather than a factory fit. I bought the van later, used. My local garage says the air con was made by a company calling its self "Retro Fit air conditioning systems"

The garage that fitted it is in East London, but they have no record of what they did.

Anyone come across a company of that name?

I need a temperature control unit.

My local garage has got it working by bypassing the the unit, but presumably it is there to prevent it over heating or something.

are you close enough to take the van to them?if its a small firm the part will be an industry standard part- take pics and try google if you know which part has been bypassed,, someone somewhere will have one

I am not near the garage that fitted it, but I will get some photos and see what I can find.
As you suggest, it is likely to be an industry standard part, which I hadn’t thought of.
