Hi after having taken my daughters Fiat Punto easy 2012 62 plate into Halfords for a free clutch check the mileage is flashing and blue and me not working.

Halfords are saying it’s a coincidence as they didn’t run any diagnostic on it, just drove it and checked clutch?

Can I ask anyone on here if there local ish to Redditch Worcestershire and would do a proxi alignment as after searching this is what it says it needs.

I have disconnected the battery drained residual power from car and reconnected battery the next morning still flashing and no blue and me.

How was the clutch?

Clutch getting done elsewhere now as have lost trust with them.

Could well be a coincidence as it’s a very common problem. But usually it happens when some electrical or diagnostic work has been carried out.

And as they charge £49.99 for a diagnostic they say didn’t do one on free test.
