Hi all.
Have a Bessacar E445 motorhome based on the 2005 Ducato 2286cc diesel. The problem I have is that the electric windows and the central locking have stopped working in both cab doors. The fuses I have checked all seem to be OK so does anyone have an idea of what the problem, and possible solution, might be?
Cheers

Hi Brian, I had the same problem. Windows and self lock is operated from a control box No M135 situated behind dash panel in front of passenger seat.
I bought one online for about £25. I have attached diagram of where it hides.
Hope this helps
JB

Hi Brian, sorry the first attachment is wrong, the second attachment is the correct one. The M135 has about 14 wires running to it through a plug and socket connection.

Hi,

had a similar problem, but only only window on driver side didn't work.

I cleaned the contacts at this box and all good now! Maybe try this first.

Do you mean the contacts on the M135 box? Sorry to be a bit thick, just want to be sure.

Hi,

yes, I think it is called M135.

A small brown box (approx. 10cm x 13cm) in front of passenger seat (RHD).

Cleaning the contacts there solved the problem on the driver site (window didn't work there at all).
Passanger site had additionally cable break.

Thanks for your help, as soon as I can get to the box , before I replace it, i'll try cleaning the contacts.
Currently having problems removing the passenger side dashboard panels. Have removed top tray and every screw that I can find on the glove compartment panel and whilst it is loose it refuses to come off. The panel seems to rotate slightly around a point above the little pocket. Does the pocket need to come out to gain access to another screw, if so how do I remove the pocket, or do I need to go against my better judgement and use brute force?

Hi,
no brute force necessary.

Don't know what you mean with "pocket"?

Do you mean the little compartment on the left side? This has to be liftet out, there are screws under there.

I have attached a picture when I disassembles the dashboard I while ago to replace the heater matrix.

The can holder has not to be removed, but all the other parts you seen on that picture.

best regards

The pocket I am referring to is to the left of the glove compartment and below the vent.

Hi,
yes, it is just push fit. There are screws under this pocket which hold the big plastic piece you need to remove.

You can see this on the picture I uploaded: the screw above the fuse holder is behind this pocket.

I have been overwhelmed by the help I have received, thank you all.

Despite an intensive online search I have been unable to locate a replacement M135 (I did, however, receive a scam text relating to one site which I chose to ignore).
I decided to visit a local Fiat dealer spares department to see what they had. No luck, in fact they were so thrown that they are going to contact Fiat direct. This surprises me as a check of the Fiat Forum archives shows that this is quite a common problem. Just shows that you out there know more than the so-called "experts"!
Anyway fingers crossed for some sort of resolution.:bang:

Hi, the M135 control unit is available from Fiat at about £185. I got mine second hand from Bradgate Motors at Wortley South Yorkshire for £25
