can't confirm but i'd have gone and done it without thinking about it.
If you are really worried try taking your bonnet off and sticking it in back.. i'm pretty sure it'll go in, make sure you take lots of soft stuff to bundle round it though, keep it safe on the journey home...
Or, fit it when you pick it up, fold your old one in half and stick it in back lol
I'm usually quite good I have neglected it a little bit over the years so I guess all them little things over time become lots of moneyi understand, i am one for getting carried away... if you read my old panda thread you'll see that what started as changing one bush snowballed into pretty much an entire new front end of the car including the engine.. for no real apparent reason, i just do get carried away
