Hi everyone, newbie here saying hello. We've just imported our own little 500(F) from Italy into the UK. currently in the process of registering it etc. Can't wait to get out on the road! Cheers and looking forward to being part of the community.

Welcome to the Forum. 2 questions---(a) where are you based? and, (b) who transported your car to the UK? Question (a) is because it is handy to know where members are so that they can be put in touch with other, possibly more experienced, members to help sort out any problems that might arise. Question (b) is because my friend in Italy would like me to take my Abarth replica over (he lives in the Senagalia area) and we go to a Raduno together, in both our cars---I am looking for a company that can transport the car to, and from, Italy for me at a sensible price. I live just outside Chester
I'm based in North London. And I can certainly put you in touch with the transport co, they seem to be doing regular runs to/from Italy (our car came from Puglia) and will probably be happy not to be returning with an empty trailer!

Tom, worth shopping around for transportation.
I’ve used shiply.com which allows you to enter the details and get quotes from multiple vendors.
Used it twice with good results.
