Over the weekend I was driving with my Fait 1100 I noticed low performance on the car especially on a stipy road usually it would climb with no gear change now it can't even go to 100km even when excelarated, I recently serviced and patched the exhaust as it was leaking what would be the problem now? And I noticed that the temp gauge remains high on a middle bar even when the car is running on a high speed and the engine is in taking the air gear 5/80km.please help

Check the coolant in radiator..
Does it start and idle well?
Is this an early carburettor uno.. or a 1990's electric injection??

Yes it's an early carb and it does start and idle well just patched the exhaust recently from the manifold to the back as it was leaking, as soon as the engine warms up the temperature gets too high and sometimes just a little bit over the half bar will try to upload a Pic as the site was experiencing technical difficulties yesterday.
