Red face A/C & pollen filter replaced at 4100 mile

Hi all, I've just joined this forum because I'm getting a 500L wagon. I went to see the documentation and saw a receipt of filter change. But isn't it strange that A/C and pollen filters needed changing at 4100 miles on the clock? Am I too anxious?

Re: A/C & pollen filter replaced at 4100 mile

Not too sure, I have my pollen filter changed my on yearly service. There's been a bit of leaves trapped in there and not much else, and this was from a 8k to 19k service interval.

I got a couple of UFI pollen filters as prime add-on items on Amazon dispatched from Italy at a steal price of 3 quid each, ended up purchasing 10, enough for the lifetime of the car as they're at a very cheap price Seems to have sold out now though. For filters, ECP can be ok with prices but sometimes it's extortionate with similar prices to Fiat, I'd recommend looking around online at a reputable company (but not eBay, can't be certain if it is genuine there).

I did notice Fiat are not configuring any more diesel engines for new cars but just petrol, probably with all the diesel-gate issues. Pretty sad to see them go as they're small but mighty - in my opinion anyway.

I suppose you are right, it's dated around a year after the registration - thanks! Your tip of sourcing filters is great - but only useful if I do take it home. I am feeling reluctant about this 500L wagon when the chap from the dealership couldn't get the gear out of neutral (it's a dualogic), and he got the mechanic to get it to work. Then I saw many threads of discussion exactly on sticking with neutral or slotting in neutral automatically for some reason. When I recall him operating the stick, I can't think of any practice out of ordinary. There's only 4500 on the clock...
