500L 500L jingling noise ????

Hi guys i have just purchased a 500l 13plate...a few issues with it so off bavk to fiat but the main one is when traveling at around 50mph upwards theres a high pitch jingling noise???? I drove the car a few times to see if i could elimimate things and when i put my foot on the brake it stops (so slowing down at junction etc) then starts again.

The garage reckon its "normal" and its the clutch adjusting itself???? I may be femalw but i aint thick!!!

My dads a mechanic but away at the mo so need some advice asap as im going in today.
