Hi, I’ve recently bought a 2nd hand fiat punto, 2008, after a day or 2 it was struggling to stay in 3rd, there was a little crunch as I released the clutch and it would jump out of gear, today it’s fine in 3rd but struggling to get into or stay in 4th?

Any ideas

If it was from a "dealer" even one without a showroom or lot, take it back and get a refund. If not you probably need a new gearbox.
What engine and gearbox are in the car?

It’s a 1.4, came from a second hand dealer, going to give them a ring tomorro, no idea what gearbox is in it

Just reject it, get a full refund and look elswhere. It's your legal right. You could let them fix it, but unless they fit new (properly reconditioned) gearbox and clutch you will never be sure if it's fixed. It's not worth messing around letting them fit it. Plenty of Puntos about, find a better one.
