we've just bought a 14 plate 500 Cult. We picked it up from the dealer this morning and like it - but we have got some queries on the in car entertainment system. To be honest i'm finding the manual is pretty poor on this... tells you how to pair but nothing else - so it's tricky to establish what's expected behaviour and what's not

Initially i paired my phone (iphone 8) with the blue and me, and made and received calls OK.

However, I can't find a way of playing music via blue tooth. Surely that's possible isn't it? or do i need to rely on a USB connection for that?

Also, when i connect the phone through the cable, set it as an aux input on the radio and also user rge SRC button on teh steering wheel, it doesn't always seem to play properly... i can see the phone playing, but sometimes get silence. Am i doing something in the correct order? it seems odd, because in most cars when you use USB it just plays

As my phone is quite new, i'm wondering if it's truly compatible with the car - or whether the car needs a firmware update or something?
