My wife has just taken delivery of a 500 with Dualogic Gears, all was well for the first week but then the car would not start! After a short while it started but we did not know why. We found out that if you turn the ignition off when it’s not in N you don’t hear the beeps and when you try and start it wouldn’t! We can only surmise that the start/stop turned the engine off when the car stopped and the keys were removed without putting the shift into N.
What we want to know is if this is a safety feature and how do we start the car if this happens
