Hi. We live in Sardegna and are looking to buy a cinquecento classic for a fun/short trip car. There’s a lot for sale on the islands for c3,000 Euro. Would really appreciate a guide to what to look out for, a long with the rust. If anyone needs help sourcing spares happy to help! Thanks in advance

Where abouts in Sardegna are you living? Secondly 3,000 Euro is a decent price for a good example. I paid 3,500 for mine. I am sure other members can advise you on where the trouble areas are to look, but under the front bonnet is the first place to look where the spare tire and battery sit. That area can trap water and rot if the hood seal has been bad for a bit.
