Hi there.
I'm new to this forum.
My friend has a Fiat Siena, and recently the clutch stopped working.
After he got it towed home he asked me to take a look at it, and I made the following observations:
The clutch pedal had dropped.
After taking out battery, engine computer and battery base, I noticed that the clutch wire had about 3/4 inch of free travel, while the graduating nuts on the clutch wire were in its original position.
The clutch lever can be freely moved a few degrees or about 1.5 inches between the points where the clutch wire originally was supposed to be and where it rests now.
Also, the clutch bearing does't make any revealing noise when the engine is on.
I think that the part that moves the clutch bearing had somehow got loose or wasn't correctly placed when they reassembled the clutch, or something else might have broken...
Any ideas or suggestions?
