Help wanted pls

Hi guys, just purchased 2007 fiat grande punto, I've pretty much got all the buttons to work and no what there are, but I'm confused with this one, pls see photo
When I push it to the on position there are noises coming from the glove box, any ideas ?

That's not a standard control, based on what you're saying I'd guess a chiller for the glovebox? You'd need to trace the wiring manually to be sure though.

Thanks for that, it's making different pitched beeps which I'm not sure off, nothing comes up on the dash.
When the car is running , if I put the button to the on position it does nothing but when its only ignition on then makes different pitched beeps, I'd imagine it would be a nightmare to trace the wiring back, just wanted to no if anyone has the same button

But when you look at the button on the column it looks like it factory made due to the design,I don't no

My ex had 2 Grande's and neither had that switch, it's not mentioned in the manual so I'm confident it's not standard.


As long as it doesn't affect running, I'd be leaving it off until you can trace the wiring. Or you could ask the previous owner...
