I had a wreck today when a truck crossed into my lane and i hit a ditch and eventually a tree. the air bags did not deploy and just pushed bumper into radiator and punctured it. after crash however my key spins freely, but would not turn off accessories even when removed. also fob no longer worked to lock unlock or any function. don't understand as ignition was behind wheel and not hit by me. any info on this

Its very likely the ignition got damaged in the accident, usually any front end accident can result in the drivers knee making contact with the ignition.

The fob not working could be something as simple as the battery in the remote being dislodged or the circuit in the key getting damaged as a result of the accident.

I take it you were not injured?

But anyway, Be sure you report this to the NTSB and to your Studio. Also do a search to see if this has happened before to others. There has been some air bag problems and recalls.

How about a pic of the damage?

Was the tree hit with enough force the bags should have gone off?

I want those things to go off if I hit a tree or anything else with enough force that's for sure.
