Got a fiat punto mk2, put some petrol in today as it's my first time driving it, how much more will it take to fill tank in litres? Pic attached to show fuel gage, don't mind the engine light that's being sorted tomorrow

Id say around 15-18 litres.The tank takes 45 litres if i remember correct.

Thanks so much, I will put another 15 litres in once my car is fixed tomorrow.

I think i got 50 in once according to pump

But i had run out ?

Puntos are bitches to fill...... airlock so easily
Best way is to not shove the fuel nozzle in all the way to allow vapour to escape while filling)

The pump kept stopping on me, Ive never filled it before straight from pump, always filled 2 Jerry cans to walk home to fill car, I have a feeling I may of been putting nozzle too far into the car ?

My punto manual says it is a 47 litre tank. But I concur with Ziggy - you can fit in more. Once managed to squeeze around 49 litres in after driving 130km with the reserve light on!

130kms on reserve

I filled mine up from a smidge over half full at the weekend and it took 24 litres but I stopped at the first click and just filled till the next round pound, that was exactly £30.
I reckon I could've got another 2 litres in it.
