Hi in short I have been having ongoing problems with Fiat Punto with a Map sensor they put in but after 6 months it failed and after having a test with the RAC they confirmed it was the map sensor. I took it to Fiat as it's under warranty but they said that the RAC reading was wrong and that they could not find a problem with it.

The sensor light actually settled for 5 months but has since started to show up again.

I have though noticed everytime I put water in the car the light goes out but it's becoming more frequent.

I'm not sure due to the hot weather if the car is using more water and that it's sitting in heavy traffic that is causing the problem.
