Hi ive had my punto lounge turbo about 6 weeks now and the s/s has never worked there isnt any faults displayed and when i press the button it says activated/decativated but just not happening when turned on. I only have 3 months warranty so want to get it sorted would it most likely be it needs new battery or would it show a fault if it was due to a dud battery ? Only checking as i wondered if maybe some people remove it on remap. Just trying to get as much info as possible before available cars try to fob me off. Ive driven it six weeks motorways dual carriageways so its not because ive got low voltage, hope someone can kindly help cheers

Hi, :)
LOW VOLTAGE.. YES

because the battery isn't storing it correctly. :(

SOME people have had sucess just removing the battery lead for an hour.. the system can then reset itself.. for the current battery output..
TBH - my 2012 only worked after a long drive.. hasn't worked for the last 2 years.. (I now do a shorter commute).

be aware they MAY say battery is "wear and tear".., and Charge you top dollar for a replacement.. you may be better just shopping around yourself.

and once the battery is changed - you could have an argument if it's still giving trouble.
