Hi I think I left my boot open and it has drained my batter completely. I had the breakdown out this morning to boost it. It wouldn't turn over... on the dash it was a picture of a key with a padlock around it! he said the dead battery has wiped my codes off my key. I rang a locksmith and he said it might be something else... can't think to what he said now though. Anyone else have this problem before? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi. This shoulnt hppen.
A poor earth connection from battery to chassis and engine will not help..
Try using an additiional cable..
LOTS of info in the FAQs at top of Grande section.

I got a guy currently waiting for a code from dealership, I'll get him to have a look to see about the earth connectivity! I hate electronics lol. This fiat has more beeps, sensors that anything Ive owned before. They make cars too complicated these days haha. Thanks for your reply!
