I have the one piece light fitting in my 2002 plate Punto mk2, the plastic cover part has snapped which turns the light on & off, I've replaced it once already! would the 2 light with actual button switches on it fit as i want too buy one but don't want to waste my money if it doesn't fit.

It will not fit...but...........if you are willing to cut the roof lining and do some more trickery it can be made to fit.
I know someone on the forum has actually done this and posted how they did it. Have a look through the posts and see if you can find it!

I really don't know, the only way that would work is if it is the same size as the MK2/2b and I very much doubt it.

I've bought the 500X one to try and replace the same sort of light as you but in my Fiat Idea so will let you know how it goes.

plug& play, in my Punto I put the light from Mito with red ambient leds

Just search for the lights on Ebay and then message the sellers to see if they still have the car to get the bracket from. That is what I did. The breakers wanted a tenner for the light + £5 shipping I asked them if they had the bracket and they did me the light and the bracket for £20 all in.
2 other sellers replied that they didn't have the brackets though.
