Hello, I bought recently a Dethleffs camper, from the year 1990 and with an 2.5 TD Fiat ducato engine. Now I need some help. Can someone tell me where the engine nummer is, the one thats on it. I can't see it. Please its urgent. Thanks

On many of the Ducato engines of that age, it was on a small plate fixed to the lower front of the engine block just above the sump by a couple of rivets.


If it's there, it may not be immediately obvious due to oil or dirt staining, but my experience has been that many of the plates on vans that age have long since come adrift.

If your lazy like me go on the Fiat eper and enter your chassis number, this will then give you the engine number and date of construction

hi pedro. for the year it should be the sofin8140-27 engine 94hp as their was only one TD engine used in the MK 1 era....... is engine number not on the V5 anyway good luck with your search.
