Hello. Just found this forum.
I have a Fiat 500 with an aluminum oil pan which I am replacing. Got the bolts out but the pan is still stuck tight. Any suggestions? Also, I assume it has a pan gasket too. Right? It doesn't look like there is much space between the pan and block.
Thanks for any input!

Sorry, forgot to say it was a 2013 Fiat 500.

If it is a 0.9 twin air then the sump has the silicone type gasket which you squeeze out of a tube, you will need to try and get something in between the sump and the block to beak the seal.

We had a hole in our sump a couple of years ago and had to replace it. You won't get much change from £250 though

Thanks. I was wondering if there was such a thing as silicone instead of a gasket.
