Help please
I fitted my punto mk2 with a pioneer stereo
I had to add a wire to the stereo iso connector to the cigarette lighter fuse socket using a piggyback adapter.
I connected the stereo iso red wire to a wire that's connected to the cigarette lighter socket fuse. The red wire on car iso connector is not connected to anything.
I kept the yellow wire connected to the yellow wire on stereo iso connection
Stereo works with ignition now. Great I thought.
4 days later my battery is flat
*car is sorn as not got test yet**
I wired it up as said in a guide on here but I think I may of misread something
Please help as My Dad thinks that I need a new battery, Car started everytime before I touched stereo ?
Have I wired it up wrong?

Get the battery recharged properly to start with
A sat car may be fine - for a short period itll kill the battery

Check out the guides section
Also check the wiring colours on tje stereo manual / guide / chart

Ensure its going off via key and cant turn back on
