Hi,

after downloading the rar parts and unzipping it to the iso-file, I load this file to a vertual clone CD device.
autorun contains gdistart.exe, which only creates a desktop link "F:\GDIO.HTM"
also gdisetup.exe does no do anything...

This F:\GDIO.HTM only opens a page, where nothing can be selected and a pop up only showing 50 pages of technical data...see screenshoot

Help please!
Thx!

Hi & Welcome
The DTE version is the very first CD based WSM issued. It was replaced by the eLearn CD based WSM. I can't actually remember the versions of Windows that the old DTE manual will run on but you are better off using the X244 eLearn instead, there are links to download an ISO version or a zip file that both create the same eLearn CD in the end & instructions in the Guides section in the following link - https://www.fiatforum.com/ducato-guides/453189-downloading-burning-244-250-elearn-iso-cd-image.html
The DTE manual covers the same JTD engines as the X244 eLearn not the 94-02 X230 models as originally stated on the download section. The eLearn needs Internet Explorer to run on!
Cheers

Thanks a lot!
I have the eLearn CD, but the electrical schemes for the radio are wrong on it. Only covering new ones, not the old ones with only one iso connector :-(

Not a problem with the eLearn info!
I have a DTE burnt to a CD & ran it direct from the CD on my old XP Pro, right click "GDIO.HTM & open with IE 8 which is the latest version in XP it then produced the Screen that you have posted with the Red van & the buttons active, select language & engine type & click the "go" button & away it goes. there was a problem with some of the pictures not appearing so you had to run SVG viewer which I thought was on the DTE CD? but I am sure is on the eLearn CD or on the net.
Don't forget it needs a version of IE to run the same as the eLearn does but a couple of times it did run eLearn on Firefox by accident  but 99% of the time it won't run on anything but IE??? attached Pic of what the first screen looks like, this program was maybe originally written minimum requirements to run in Windows 95/98 & IE4 Sp2 according to the readme.txt so that is how old it is, file dates seem to indicate in Win XP time?
Just tried on Windows 8.1 with same result as your pic but I am sure I had got it to run on 8.1 once before, who knows what updates have installed since. The Technical data on the right of your pic is what comes up from the Technical Data button in a popup window.
Cheers

Hi,
thanks a lot. I just got an old laptop and installed Win XP, which comes with IE7.
Now I got the right looking start screen!
I also installed an old java version and activated lowest security in IE-Settings, allowing active x elements etc.
But e.g. in the wiring schemes I only got an empty picture with a red cross in the edge... :-(
