Just a quick update on this repair I’m trying on these.
I have now looked at doing the repair in place and it’s definitely possible which means no removal of the dashboard and no new parts.
If anyone has this fault with their 500 and are willing to let me give this repair a try and it’s successful I will do the whole job for £150 inc vat
