Hi, I am on my third Ducato motorhome over a period of 10 years and I have to ask of anyone is as irritated as I am by the trigger happy indicator/dipping switch which so frequently goes into indicator mode when I operate the dipswitch with only the slightest deviation from straight back. Drivers following me must be maddened when hey see my left or right indicator give 5 meaningless flashes. Has anyone been able to disable the "lane change" indicator function?

Welcome newbie!!!!

YES! Same here. I need to be gentle, so no quick dipping of the beam otherwise an indicator turns on... and I have to then switch on that indicator to then cancel it.

I thought it was just a minor fault in this used van. I'm interested to see if there is a fix. (y)

Hi, and welcome,:)

it's obviously just "one of those things.."

is it possible to switch off the "lane-changer" function though..:chin:

I have this issue on a punto.. I'm ok with it.. both the alternate driver hates it..

Its a maddening characteristic right enough, flimsy springs I'd say, but I bet its a faff to improve.

We just changed to a Citroen car and it's nearly as bad. Our old Seat Altea was much better all round for switchgear.

Anyway welcome to the forum:)(y)
